Did you know inversions are a natural anti-depressant? Find the expression of an inversion that works for your body in a safe and empowering way.

This workshop will teach you the fundamentals necessary for going upside down, whether your inversion of choice is supported shoulder stand or a forearm balance. Learn how to tap into the deep muscles of the core and align the bones to help you find your balance while upside down!

The piriformis, one of the major muscles of hip mobility, is a short, powerful muscle much abused, misused, and overlooked in daily life.Overworked and misunderstood, a stressed piriformis can lead to lower back pain, hip pain, and sciatica.
 
In this workshop, we'll explore the anatomical attachments and function of the piriformis and learn poses to tonify this crucial muscle. We will also discuss the energetics of the piriformis and its relation to the jaw.
 
Learn postures and self-contact techniques to relieve tension so that you can move with more ease.

Deep healing and balancing of the body, mind and emotions.

In a state of receiving healing sounds, you can shift your perspective and open to the infinite possibilities of the universe, receiving guidance and releasing what is no longer serving your greatest good.

You will be guided by a journey into your body and awareness of the dreaming mind as the sounds of crystal bowls release and support the energy centers of the body, or chakras.
 
The vibrations of the quartz crystal singing bowls correlate to the chakra system and facilitate deep healing and balancing of the body, mind, and emotions.
 
After your journey, an herbal tea will be offered to aid in integrating the vibrations of the crystal bowls into your energy field.

Deepen your practice by mastering the relationship between your breath and your spinal movements.
Understand breath and movement like you have never before.
 
Learn how to create a balanced asana practice that results in an overall feeling of strength and ease. Discover how to create an intimate awareness of your body by moving from the inside by utilizing breath as guide for movement.
 
This class offers a structured progressive curriculum. Expect to learn more than you would in a standard open yoga class. This class welcomes everyone from beginners to long time yogis Nail down the basic foundations of yoga asana practice, suitable for beginners, any student wishing to refine their practice, and those considering Yoga Teacher Training, who would like to activate the power of the breath in asana practice.

Come to know and embody your body joint-by-joint, muscle-by-muscle, breath-by-breath, and build a practice in a balanced way.
 
Excavate unhealthy tension patterns and blind spots to find physiological balance. Explore specific muscles, connective tissues and joint mobility. Identify "release valves," or discover areas of the body that have been underused, undetected, or that are simply lacking awareness.
 
Use Yoga Tune-Up Therapy Balls to roll out tension in common "high-charge" regions like the upper back and neck, rotator cuff, lower back, hips, buttocks, iliotibial band and the ankles and feet. This technique utilizes compression, friction, penetration, and motion to induce circulation, relaxation, and length into muscles and fascia all over the body. 
 
Appropriate for all levels of yoga practitioners.
 
 
Maximum capacity is 18 people. It's strongly encouraged to register ahead of time.
