This workshop will present the principles of The Bodymind Method for those who have experienced their embodiment on a little higher level as athletes, dancers, fitness/weight training enthusiasts, yogis, etc., with at least a basic understanding of the interplay between body and mind. The session will be targeted to the dynamics of the group and will include some explanation of the key elements such as breathing mechanics/meditation, The Alexander Technique essentials, conditioning guidelines and the use of imagery (Ideokinesis) to connect body and mind. Participants will experience these concepts at a level suitable for the group including exercises and tactile reinforcement for those who choose.
