In essence, Dharma Yoga is a system of classical Hatha-Raja Yoga. A devotional practice that emphasizes good health, a clear mind and a kind heart. The method weaves together many teachings in order to bring all students closer to the goal of Self-realization.
Although this class has a slow pace, the practice can be intense. Yin Yoga is sensation rich and characterized as an exercise for connective tissue. Long holds and deep stretch result in rehydration of the fascia and ease in overall mobility.

The deep slow rhythmic breath that you will master naturally creates a calm and focused mind and reduces stress on a physiologic level. The Viniyoga teacher incorporates safe and effective sequencing, and adaptation of poses to suit individual needs. Viniyoga classes may at times include seated breath awareness (pranayama), meditation and other yogic techniques.
Community Yoga classes are of at a variety levels depending on the teacher's preference and the students who come. All students are welcome in these classes.
